1.  Have a Strategy 

Your strategy is your action plan, the road map you are taking to your renowned destination. Where now you are taking a pause and asking yourself what I'm required to do and writing down how to approach all the details, this helps you not to miss all the relevant details required.  Thus goes down to planning your day of what you going to do, this a a secret of getting a productive and proactive day. 

2. Acquire the knowledge 

Now that you know what to do and where you are going, gather the knowledge this can be reading publications, books, standards, and legislations to get the right information. This can also include asking the relevant people how it's done, at this stage you get your reference point right to produce quality

work that is relevant in your field. 

3. Get the resources 

Now that you have the relevant reference points for the task at hand, Have resources allocated it can be getting finance, and making sure the right people for executing the task are available. 

4. Allocate time 

Now that you have everything you need, set time, monitor variance's do better next time to avoid inefficiencies. Time is a very expensive resource, learn to manage it to avoid delays 

5. Execute 

Get all the details right and make your work represent you even if you are not there. Make your everyday tasks in your field count.
